This feature will allow users to search in natural language and receive answers from Google in a natural way in the form of content paragraphs combined with links to websites or links to products – depending on the search performed.

The feature works on a language model called PaLM 2 – an artificial neural network that resembles/imitates the human nervous system. The language model is based on a huge amount of content, products, data and media – something that allows it to understand in a more natural and clear way the search the user made and to give the user a full, natural and more correct answer for the specific search.

This feature, according to Google, will be integrated at the top of the search results page, above paid ads.
